BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art, Design and Media

This is an intense and dynamic one year course which enables you to explore a vast range of specialist pathways, building on your prior experience and helping you to make valid and informed decisions about your progression within higher education and the creative industries.

Develop your critical independence:

It aims to develop your critical independence and application of art and design, relevant to your personal progression and career choice. The course involves an initial rotating programme of subject tasters, which offer both insight and vigour to your self awareness of how you fit into an area of expertise. Through intensive support, guidance and development you are able to develop your creative talents culminating with an assessed 'end of year' final show.

Preparation for progression and application to higher education courses are built within the programme ensuring you are fully prepared and confident with portfolios of work required for interview.
