Resources accessible inside or out of the College
There is a great deal of information available for students on the LRC area of the College Hub which is accessible internally or externally from the College.
The Hub, our College intranet has an e-resources area which provides both in–College and external access which are pre–sorted specifically for your research.
E-resource examples
- Web links. Comprehensive themed lists of websites created by Academic staff to use for your research.
- Media Links. Contains links to media related sites such as local, national, international and foreign language newspapers and national and international television news.
- E–Books. Access to over 3,000 e–books through the library catalogue
- Heritage Library Database. This will help you find and reserve resources accessible for College study and research.
From this area you can also visit the Resource Links and trace on–line newspaper and magazine articles by using Gale Databases, watch films and videos, or listen to classical music on Film and Sound Online, or visit Know UK, an online reference service, which provides key information on the people, places, and institutions of the UK.
