Travel and Tourism
The Travel and Tourism courses are designed to give a good grounding in basic knowledge skills and understanding of the industry to enable students to progress to further study or jobs in the industry.
Areas of study include:
- UK and overseas destinations
- Marketing
- Customer service
- Planning events
Much of the work is based on practical case studies and includes visits to local tourism organisations. Additional qualifications in Tourism, Geography and Airport Passenger Services will be offered.
