Due to the growth of within our business we embarked on a Management Development programme with Telford College to develop our junior Managers skills. The programme has been a major success in helping develop our Managers of tomorrow. The training programmes have now been expanded to cover all levels of Managers within our business.
The Management level 2 Development programme has been delivered by Telford College to all our Supervisors. The training covered all the management issues we have in our operational business. Our Supervisors have taken the theory from the classroom and put it into practice in their job roles. We have seen benefits in their soft management skills, a understanding of management styles and a full understanding of our business issues. We have subsequently expanded the course to Level 3 for our middle Management team.
Our business has expanded in recent years and we wanted to offer a Team Leader programme to our aspiring Managers. Telford College delivered the course on site with great effect. The programme has introduced the basic building blocks for our aspiring Managers enabling them to apply for Management positions within our business.
As one of the major Facilities Management companies in the UK we have worked in conjunction with Telford College to develop our operational Managers skills. Over 120 of our staff are undertaking the Facilities Management Apprenticeship at 10 of our regional offices. The Apprenticeship training covers all aspects of managing our complex facilities and is providing our staff with a full understanding of the impact of their job role.
