Liz Bekker, Staff Member
In my cross College roles, I have worked closely with both staff and students, from supporting them in an administrative capacity to joining them on educational day and residential visits as a supporting female member of staff. I have gathered a wealth of information and empathy which I have been able to apply to my current role of Learner Services Secretary.
My position is very interesting as I work closely for the Deputy Principal Learner Services. Aspects of the role have given me a knowledge, familiarisation and understanding of the College from minute taking at meetings such as Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group, Safeguarding network etc, to maintaining College policies and procedures, I also liaise with external organisations such the police, Telford and Wrekin representatives, local schools etc.
