Tutorial Entitlement

Students at Telford College have a Personal tutor or Pastoral tutor who will help and support you through programmes of study, to help progressions towards a  chosen career. They offer advice on study skills, work experience and health and well-being.

Tutorial Entitlement covers various subjects, including:

  • Safeguarding
  • Alcohol
  • Personal safety
  • Contraception.

These also include resources, external training and events, Such as multi-faith talks (faith and belief), equality and diversity, bullying and harassment, the importance of living in a democracy, Black History Month and healthy lifestyles. These activities will help to ensure you have the tools to be a good citizen at work and home.

The College will also embed the values of respect and tolerance of all the College community, which is highlighted within the citizenship code.

Students can be involved in charity events, organised by their course group, or cross-college events such as: Macmillan Coffee Morning, Red Nose Day and Children in Need.

Students have 1:1 tutorials to monitor  work and action plan targets and to discuss the next steps they may take.
