This is a 2 year course that aims to give a thorough understanding of how businesses operate at the higher level.
The award is vocationally based with an emphasis on work related approaches used throughout, students are expected to undergo 1 day per week industry placement to start in January of year 1.

Student coming direct from school will need 100 – 160 UCAS points. While all relevant qualifications are considered.
How long is the course?
2 years full time (Year 1 at Telford College of Arts and Technology and year 2 at Wolverhampton University Campus, Priorslee).
What subjects will I study?
Topics studied during year 1 will include; human resources and management; Ebusiness; business numeracy; marketing; business organisations & structures.
How will I be assessed?
Various modes of assessement used on the course to include: individual / group reports, work based project, in class excercises, discussions & presentations.
What is the attendance requirement?
3 days per week, of which 2 days will be in college and 1 day per week industry placement (may vary in year 2).
How can I progress from this course?
A one year top up programme to achieve a BA (Hons) in Business and Management with opportunity to progress onto post graduate programme.
