After the College was informed that funding had been withdrawn, it considered other ways in which to deliver this provision. The Oakdene development will be used to deliver life skills to students within the Directorate of Foundation Studies. Oakdene is currently being looked at by Architects who are looking to transforming the property to meet the needs of the students who are currently studying towards various pathway courses through the Directorate. The IFL take a random sample of CPD logs from across the country throughout the year, to see how and what teachers and their institutions are logging as Continuing Professional Development. Andy McIntyres CPD log was one that the IFL used in their sample. Andy believes that for his teaching to be vibrant and exciting, and to engage the students fully, having a wealth of experience in his chosen field of Art is essential.
