Enterprise Activities through Foundation Studies courses
Currently enterprise activities take place at Admaston House, Eat Smart and Walker Restaurant
Admaston House
This is the first step into working in the community. This catering course encourages students to learn how to serve customers and prepare and cook meals to order. The course runs one day per week and the students start by learning how to run a cafe, advertise, select an appropriate menu, cost and develop the menu.
Eat Smart
This is a catering enterprise where students from various catering groups have the opportunity to design, cost, make and deliver catering to people within the community. The students have supplied catering and service staff to the following events:
- Help for Heroes, dinner for 300 at Oakengates
- Schools Skills Festival, packed lunches for 780 at Cosford
- Skills Festival, packed lunches for 600 at Telford International Centre and many many more events.
