Phillip says

“Having been unemployed for 3 years my confidence was at an all time low. I met Maria from Upturn at a skills fair and she told me about the opportunities. I was so grateful to be given a chance to develop and learn new skills and experiences as I now have my own family to support and I wanted to make sure I was a good role model to my son. Upturn and GNC have been excellent having just completed NVQ level 2 in Environmental Services and I've just secured a full time job. I am absolutely positive that I would not have got this job without the skills, experience and confidence I have gained through working with GNC, Telford College and Upturn.”

Nina Kijowski (Organisational Development Advisor) and Guinness Northern Counties management have been, and still are, instrumental in cementing the working partnership with Telford College.

We are delighted that Guinness Northern Counties have chosen Telford College as its training provider as we both share a commitment to continual development and a culture of making our respective businesses the best they can be, whilst at the same time under the current economic climate helping the unemployed get back into work.
