Construction Site Safety Plus
Site Safety Plus – Achieving Behavioural Change – 1 day course
Available only as an in–company programme, this award winning one–day course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of how attitude, behaviour, communication and worker engagement at all levels can help prevent the chances of accidents occurring.
Site Safety Plus – Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) – 5 day course
The course helps site managers (and anyone wanting to become a site manager) to develop a better understanding of the legal, moral and social responsibilities of their role, and to manage health and safety on site in accordance with current legal provisions. The course lasts five days. During the SMSTS training course, candidates must pass core exercises. At the end of the training course, candidates sit an examination in order to qualify for the CITB Certificate.
Site Safety Plus – Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) – 2 day course
The Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course has been designed to meet the needs of site supervisors within the construction industry. This course is for First Line Managers, those who have to, or are about to, acquire supervisory responsibilities. The course aims to highlight the need for risk assessment in the workplace; implementation of the necessary control measures; and adequate communication and monitoring in order to provide and maintain positive standards of health, safety and welfare on a construction site. The course is designed to ensure that candidates have an overview and understanding of their responsibility for supervising and helping to oversee safety in a construction site environment.
