Attending School Events  - Suitable for all

We love coming along to a range of school events to inform students, parents and teachers about what we have to offer. College curriculum staff can also support with interactive activities, competitions and tasters.

Passport to Success - Suitable for Years 11-13

Passport to Success is a resource designed to be delivered within PSHE/tutorial sessions to promote aspirational thinking and challenge students’ misconceptions about university and higher education.

1:1 IAG Sessions - Suitable for all

School liaison is available for one to one IAG sessions with students who have any questions or need advice and would prefer to do this on a one to one basis.

Industry & Employer Talks - Suitable for Years 9-11

We work with hundreds of businesses in the region so if you’re looking for talks on specific industries or careers let us know and we’ll source someone from the sector for your school.

Interview Prep Sessions - Suitable for Years 10-11

School liaison can offer tailored interview preparation sessions to support your students in tutorials to develop employability and communication skills.

Practical Learning Sessions - Suitable for Years 9-11

Our specialist tutors deliver demonstrations at the college and in schools. This allows students to experience hands-on sessions based on their career aspirations.develop employability and communication skills.

VIP Tours - Suitable for all

Can’t make an open event or want a more personalised tour for groups or individuals? We would be delighted to show anyone around the college throughout the year.

Children’s University - Suitable for Years 5-6

Working in partnership with Maxell Educational Trust, this event enables students to take part in exciting activities run by the college to build confidence, learn new skills and meet new friends.

Aspire to HE - Suitable for Year 11
Aspire to HE is a part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP), which supports the government’s goal to increase the number of disadvantaged young people entering higher education by 2020. Activities scheduled to take place include campus visits to universities, maths and English workshops and an event designed to offer help and support for parents and guardians.

Higher Education Workshops - Suitable for Years 12-13

We can offer students the chance to find out about our university level courses whilst still
being able to study in a familiar environment close to home, with lower fee costs.

Drop-in Sessions

Hannah Smith is available to come into schools on a drop-in basis to speak to students about IAG, courses, apprenticeships, events and more.
